It might be worth mentioning that the inside art is badly cropped with Dr Manhattan missing the top of his head.
It's the same inside art as the North American art which they managed to crop it correctly.
A shame as it's a nice steel with the spot gloss on the characters and title.

Extended and it is worth mentioning that Paramount has a superior encoding over the Warner release.

You're wrong: Italy never had ext version, and this is the same old disc, featuring the theatrical cut

I believe most of the European countries had (or still have) only the theatrical cut available on Blu-ray: Italy, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, etc.

Even the initial UK Blu-ray release (2009-07-27) included only the theatrical cut. Four months later (2009-11-30) , the Two-Disc Director's Cut was released in the UK.

The UK steelbook (Director's Cut) was released on 2012-10-15.

Neither the UK nor the US director's cut Blu-ray releases of Watchmen include Dutch subtitles.
