I believe it has sold the majority of its copies after the recent announcement that it was the Director's Cut. This title will be one hot cookie!

Ultimate edition apparently in the UK in the near future according to another it on the facebook page. Then again long is a piece of string and no guarantee that it will be a steelbook or anytime soon .

I too have ordered a second one increase thire is anything wrong with the first. To me it looks good enough to eat. This steelbook lark is geting a bit obsessive :emb:mg: OH WELL :D.

Thanks Scary, good news on UK front for our members. Perhaps some members want to check that out on FB, since some wanted the Ultimate US Ed shipped to them:)

Paramount Film Club Hi Curtis, we've just received a reply on this, and we can confirm that we are currently looking into a UK release for Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut in the near future. Hope this helps!

I don't know how to link to things but I can cut and paste this from thire page.I think this is now in my top 5 ever. would like to see this myself to see how it comperes to the directors cut.

This is great, but if its not a steel, then not interested

Spring, haha! I am sure many here won't just by a Steelbook to buy a Steelbook. But many may be pursuaded by art...or the occasional half-naked woman or guy on a cover :hilarious: I keed, I keed...

Obviously people care about the version of the film they are getting, but for those who choose not to watch all the extras for a film or don't have time to do that, then the amount of hours of extras isn't going to be a huge consideration.

There's one reason why they don't load Steelbooks with the most content... they know that Steelbook collectors will by both versions. I'm not really bothered about extras if i'm honest. As long as the film is untouched and included (of course), then i'm happy. Anything else is a bonus.

If they don't know what their target audience wants a steelbook to look like (embossing, inside artwork, no text on the back, no banners, no logos etc) I doubt they would know what versions they will buy ...

The only reason why they don't add a 2nd disc to the steelbook is purely financial. It costs more and thereby reduces profit ...

Anyway, I don't give a f*** about the bonus, I belong to the group of people who don't want to watch actors sitting on a chair talking about how they absolutely loved playing in the film and how great and fun the director and the other actors were ...
