Why do people want this to go OOP so quick? What difference does it make whether it goes OOP now or later?

I'm being serious by the way... I want to know.

I guess it becomes a more disirable collectible. Members here buy 2 or 3 copies hoping it's becomes a valuable trade asset or something they can sale down the line for obvious reasons. But overall it would be something nice to own in anybody's collection that you can no longer buy retail.

I understand why they want it to go OOP, because then it's obviously rare and a more "desirable collectable" like you said Alex. I'm just confused as to what the big rush is, that's all lol. You can still make a nice profit even if it goes OOP months later.

Whatever the reason, it's fine by me! I was just curious.

I guess selling out means it has reached highly popular status - We really need a sold out chart for UK steelbooks, ideally Play.com will sell out a title as new releases come in....

I wonder if the number of Play.com titles will ever drop back to below 100....(actually sold by Play.com - not third party sellers!!)

I'm pretty sure it's 4,000. I think this would've sold out weeks ago if not for the sheer volume of Steelbooks being released at the moment. I guess people have to prioritise, you can't get everything at once.
