As this might be helpful to some. On a "Collectible Hunt" perspective, I might hold off until release date.

Since Watchmen is under the "WB" banner, WB is infamous of showing "More Limited - Store Exclusive" offers to stores like Bestbuy, Target and Walmart.

*it happened before with 300, Harry Potter...

You can get it now at WB Shop for 34.49 and free shipping with coupon code.

Trust me, no one is eager as I am ... an added spice to my collection below:

This looks like a great set and I'm definitely going to buy it but what's the difference between this edition and the previous one? Is it just the addition of the graphic novel? Wouldn't a diehard Watchmen fan already have the graphic novel? I wish WB would've included more stuff to this set. I'm not complaining; just making an observation. :)

Rose maybe the code us no longer active (sometimes the deactivate them as retailers do with coupon codes etc). If others have the same issue we can remove the code from op.

do not use the link. Do not sign in if you already have an account. Try and go to wbshop.com, and put in Watchmen in the search bar. Click on the save up to 30% on watchmen banner and it will link you to everything watchman. Then click on watchmen ulitmate cut (three rows down) and place in cart. Click on my cart at the top of the screen and hit view cart (do not hit checkout yet). There will be a box on the bottom left for the code. Input 123F45677894300D1934 and hit submit. The price will be discounted.
Good luck!!

The code will not work for me. :( I get this:

"The items in your cart do not meet the conditions of this coupon."

Any ideas? :wtf:

Thanks :) That worked as long as I checked out as a guest. I guess the code is only for new customers? I wonder if they will put 2 & 2 together with my same info as a guest as my registered account. :dunno:

is it possible to pay for the item and have it sent to a us member on here, whom i give postage money for them to send to me ? ?

anyone one know if that'd work, cause at this price it'd be to hard to turn down

Bobba, may not even be worth it because the set is probably on the heavy side with the book. By the time you add shipping, from US to UK it may come out the same, as ordering from Amazon US? Not sure. I know you are assessed customs but just something to consider....

the reason it's so tempting is, with the code its $18 cheaper then amazon are selling it. throw in the extra 10 dollars for posting then another 15 for import fee, its getting a little steep. postage (even if its very heavy would exceed the $18 i'd be saving) and if it's being sent directly by a user i'd feel more confident about not needing to worry about import fees. though even if i had to pay import fees overall i think it'll end up costing at worst the same price as buying from amazon(inc postage with import charge).

definetly encouraging, definitely going to pay attention and see what happens. Assuming the uk does get one. my biggest worry would be the price and content. The uk often gets the short end of the stick with these kinda things and I could imagine the uk getting stuck with poorer packaging/less content and it would probably end up costing more then importing it. but definelty gonna keep an eye out. Fingers crossed.

Boba-good luck deciding what option works best! Unfortunately, nowadays shipping from friend to friend is not completely safe all the time, either. Many have shipped dozens of packages to UK-and even when marked low, or as gift, etc, customs has been insisting on fees. But if you get into a serious pinch, hopefully someone will help!:scat:

I've gone for the one from WBShop via a buddy on here. For $34, it's going to be cheaper even with postage than it will be Amazon.com

Sourcing this from the WBShop and getting the person to mark the customs form down will work out to roughly the same price as it would ordering from Amazon.com using their standard postage, but because the customs form is marked down you won't get any custom fees ;)
