Figured I'd start a spin-off thread of the craft beer thread. Post your pictures of what beer you are drinking!

I got a call today saying I didn't have to go into the clinic, and that means I'm done for the Holiday!! :scat::scat:

So I cracked open a Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale. It's 5 o'clock somewhere, haha

Flying Dog has some interesting stuff. I see it all the time when I stop of at my usual store. What do you think of the porter?

I love it I bought an hole case of 24 off an recomandation from work mate(who I also play the public with , just to be wow, same mate that gave me -10 Blåbær, he´s a beer nerd and collector), bought a hole case with the intention that some would be left to age, hoping that I wouldn´t devour em all in one go, if you got fewer bottle it seems harder to leave them to age

they also make an barrel-aged version of the same porter that I picked up on a trip to denmark

a side note with in 10 mins walkt from the trainstation in kopenhagen you got http://www.olbutikken.dk/ where one can buy the Blåbær when it released and another 5 min you got http://kihoskh.dk where I got the barrel-aged porters from brew dog from

not only do they sell bottles that you can take with you but the also has a fridge, it seemed they had certain number of Blåbær bottle reserved that you can buy and drink from in the little bar, a table and some chaires

maybe a place to visit for next vacation

I love that idea!

i thought everyone in the states drank corona.lol

Not a chance. I think that stuff is gross and watered down.

Anyway, it's really good to see some new names in this thread. Welcome!

I finally opened a Christmas gift from Diva this weekend, Schlafly 20th Anniv Vol 4: Southern Hemisphere IPA. It's a single malt, single hop (Galaxy hops) IPA. Crazy good. Very clean and straight forward IPA.

And in a pint glass too jeez. How much did that cost? Usually places can be stingy. Where was this at? Was it everything you hoped for?

eh, it was a mini pint glass, lol. 7oz pour for $6. not too bad. i think i paid $10 for an 8oz pour of CBS when they tapped it here three months ago.

it was at this bar-grill on the east side of town called the BBC. what's weird is they aren't really known for their craft beer selection, its actually one of the known college bars in the area. there's better bars out there for craft selection. so not sure how they got this gem, someone must know somebody.

and yes, it was everything i hoped for! so smooth, such rich flavors. i got two pours and decided that was enough for one night. apparently it will be back in town early february at a different bar, so hopefully i can make that one too.
