Figured I'd start a spin-off thread of the craft beer thread. Post your pictures of what beer you are drinking!

I got a call today saying I didn't have to go into the clinic, and that means I'm done for the Holiday!! :scat::scat:

So I cracked open a Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale. It's 5 o'clock somewhere, haha

eh, it was a mini pint glass, lol. 7oz pour for $6. not too bad. i think i paid $10 for an 8oz pour of CBS when they tapped it here three months ago.

it was at this bar-grill on the east side of town called the BBC. what's weird is they aren't really known for their craft beer selection, its actually one of the known college bars in the area. there's better bars out there for craft selection. so not sure how they got this gem, someone must know somebody.

and yes, it was everything i hoped for! so smooth, such rich flavors. i got two pours and decided that was enough for one night. apparently it will be back in town early february at a different bar, so hopefully i can make that one too.

I've heard that we'll be getting Black Note in our area soon. It's pending approval by the state. I am excited that more Firestone Walker stuff is making it's way here too. I'm really looking forward to Velvet Merkin.

Ahhh your pic is decieving lol. We don't see black note on tap around my area. Usually at the festivals and at the eccentric cafe. I hope if they release it in bottles I can drive out and get me some. We will see

I'm a big fan of Starr Hill. Man I love me some Festie!!!:scat:

+1 I got to try Starr Hill for the first time when I went out to VA for a couple weeks with my National Guard unit. A couple of friends and I went through a 12 bottle sampler in almost one night. From then on out, I was picking up 6 packs of The Love. Wish I could get that one here in MO.

Per drinking before I head downtown to The D to watch the Lions game!

Best beer I've ever had is an Indian beer called 'Bangla'. Can't seem to find it anywhere anymore though

Hmm I'd like to try it.. I'll keep an eye out.

XX from Mexico

all time best beer.

favourite tipple at the moment is Stella Cidre

Yeah I love XX too. I'm more a Corona man tho in regards to Mexican beers, but I dont dislike probably any mexican beer. Recently had XX amber for the first time.

i wasn't into it that much when i had it, but i know some people who love it as well. id say id prefer it over corona still, unless im on the beach

long stressful day, now unwinding with a zombie dust, soon to be followed by central waters bourbon barrel stout!

Once I get over this cold, I'll be able to contribute to this thread again and unwind with a good beer. Right now it's just unwinding with a big glass of water, an antibiotic, and some Mucinex D.

Where I'm from, it's a crime if you drink a corona without a lime. Squeeze that lime juice in and pour some salt around the top. If you havent had it like that, you might want to give it a try.

I've never heard of desperado.
