any possibility of getting one at a fair price???

I'm sure many members will be having extras to trade. A word of advice for those looking. Post in your signature.... "Looking for Roger Rabbit ... view my trade thread ____ or can source title from X Country in trade"

We allow things of that nature in sigs so long is people arent requesting 100 titles in their sig. :p It helps out alot, and also keeps threads clean of "want" posts.

Thanks for the pic / info Wreck. Looks very much like Play's steelbook packaging which is obviously great news

Yup ... How cool of Play right? Such great advocates of the steelbook world. Remember you can also say thanks to Play by buying Zavvi steels off the play marketplace. As a show of gratitude I know I will be placing an order for an upcoming pre-order via that route here in the future.

The packaging looks like a huge improvement indeed! Let's hope their shipping method will be next - I really don't like to wait 3 - 4 weeks for a steel (and I live in the Netherlands...UK <> NL shouldn't be more than a few days, but Zavvi tends to ship their items from other countries).

The fact that I've got tracking numbers with mine is already an improvement!

Keep up the good work Zavvi!

Lucky i looked on here, i was beginning to get annoyed that other peoples had been sent and mine hadn't, but then after looking here i checked my junk mail and there it was... :wtf:

oh well, good news is that it was sent yesterday :)

Thanks Wreck for putting in the word to make that packaging possible. Zavvi is picking up right where Play left off in an awesome way. :scat:

Hopefully they don't follow play into the ground either ;)

Which only work within the UK main land.... It's a joke, really. They can't track your package when you mail them after 4 weeks if you haven't received your order yet (and they force you to wait 4 weeks, otherwise they won't help you). For example, I had three Wolverine steelbooks shipped to me, it took about 10 weeks in total. The first two never arrived, hence they sent me a new one, the third one arrived damage. No clue what happens now, I almost don't dare to e-mail them anymore as this takes extremely long and it's 'just' about a €12 steelbook. At the same time, I feel like I should keep pushing, otherwise they'll never learn. This has happened to me several times in the past few years in buying from them.

I hope they really are going to improve their business if they want to please the steelbook-community. Signs are "OK" so far, but they've got ways to go.

I expect to receive my Who Framed Roger Rabbit steelbook at the middle/end of April, which is sad. But at least the chances for it to arrive damaged are slimmer now.

I just pre ordered all the Indy Steels from Zavvi yesterday and the total for 6 steels was £17 shipped to the U.S WITH tracking... So they HAVE definately been listening to us!

But I don't think the "new" tracking is in effect with these Roger Rabbit orders unfortunately.
