Personally I have always liked Zavvi, they have always delivered my items on time and without damage so I am glad to finally see them getting some positive remarks on here!

I've also never had a problem with them personally. I once had an issue with an item that was broken (still sealed within a box, so not their fault), so I contacted their customer services who then sent out a replacement the same day.

Good on zavvi! Order dispatched yesterday, now all I've to do is wait (hopefully less than 4 weeks lol)!

Looks like their packaging has a flap to open it, just like the amazon steelcase packaging ...
Apart from that, it seems to be from the same supplier than plays boxes

Mind you that the only people who are leaving positive remarks about Zavvi are based in the UK. International orders are pretty much still a nightmare, unfortunately, but it's getting better at least.

I guess I'm just 'impatient' and wish Zavvi would fix everything all at once. Instead, they seem to go step by step, but in a very slow matter.

Yes packaging looks gd lets see how the delivery speed is but I have to say if they have improved in these areas I will have no problem shopping with them in the future although having to wait 4 weeks if there's any kind of problem seems a bit excessive.
I have a few of these coming posted out yesterday i'll give them a look over and for those who missed out I maybe willing to do some kind of trade I am looking to collect all 4 game of thrones u.s. sigil boxsets n&s for those who have a few sitting in there collection i'm sure we can sort something out.

Ahh I see it now. Looks like it will just make the boxes harder to re-use to me. I didn't have a problem with opening the Play.com boxes. You could try peeling it off or just rip it, either way the box was still useable afterwards.

Agreed. I got used to all type of play.com boxes. I don't like the peel off type box as it can't be easily reused. Maybe we will find some innovative ways to unbox and reuse them.

Well if it was brought to their attention. I am sure they would do something, as it free advertising for them every time the box is re-used.

haha I cant perform miracles .... I'm good for about 4 of those per year and I'm almost at 4

But I do belive that their customer service will get much better with these boxes in place.

Less damaged steels = less customer complaints = happier customer service agents.

I bet the current customer service agents are bitchin about all these crazy steelbook collectors hehe. These lil boxes will make them very happy.

I'm glad I took a gamble and pre-ordered this. The (previous) flimsy packaging was a major concern of mine.
