The packaging is a very welcome move.

But Zavvi desperately need to have better customer service, because what they have right now is abysmal. Make a complaint or an enquiry or request to change an order detail or change a delivery address and it's just like firing off an email into a virtual black hole. You hear nothing. It's really some of the worst CS out there, and there's no excuse for it. Good customer service should be a given for any online retailer.

Until they improve this aspect of their online operation I won't be placing any orders with them other than those I absolutely have to (like this one), because I'd just rather have the peace of mind of Amazon's vastly superior CS in case things go wrong.

The majority of members seem to have a very bad experience with zavvi/hut group.
To be honest, i have ordered from them and I have also had a few problems with them.
Word of advice, if you have a complaint, speak to them or email them specifically on their relations email address or speak to them and ask for a manage callback.
Sometimes, they don't listen so you have to be persistent and also a bit firm with them.
The reason why zavvi at times take so long to deliver is because they have a warehouse which is based in the usa so some goods arrive from the Usa to zavvi and then to us!
(dont quote me on that-they may just come direct)!
Yes, zavvi's customer service needs to improve but give them a chance, wreck has already said things will improve so for now lets hope and pray that everyone gets there steel quick and mint!!
Ps, the only reason I know all this is because I have also had a fair few problems with zavi in the past!!!
 
I returned to The Hut once and they never got what I sent back thire fault in the first place I was sent the wrong thing . ANYWAY when I returned I got proof of postage then scanned it in an email to them . 2hrs later full refund.

IF I'd have sent it registered then they would have used the tracking number and done it that way.

I am hoping that we are all delighted with the packaging to be honest I am more bothered about the film .

Even IF mine is damaged I wont care I'll keep it no matter what . I'd have bought it anyway steelbook OR not, just a bonus it is a steelbook.

P.s Can not wait to see some actual photos in this tread :drool:.
 
Nice very glossy title looks abit cluttered and could've done with embossing but overall

A major improvement but not up to plays standard, foam,is about a quarter as thick as plays was

How was the packaging? Pics from Wreck seems like a major improvment.

Agree embossing/debossing would've made this much better, now let's see some pictures plz :p
