Sooo. Tony and EMS have done their part. New Zealand post on the other hand are a bunch of a-holes. I called them today to find out where my Special Box was. Still hasn’t arrived, still in transit they said. And so says their tracking tool. But Korea Post EMS are fantastic and scan all the way. In fact they scanned the parcel ‘arrived’ in New Zealand on the 21st, and another scan to say they handed over to ‘destination postal service’ on the same date. I pointed this out to the twanger on the end of the phone, who after viewing the Korea EMS tracking site, said she had no idea. No idea! This is about the tenth time I’ve snapped them dragging the chain. Why is this a problem you may ask. I pay huge $$$$ to select Express Shipping. Now they tell me I will probably get my parcel early next week. So I may as well have just shipped KPacket. Pisses me off. Sorry to rant, but I’m sure you guys can appreciate the frustration when you get second class service.

Totally understand your frustration mate. Same with Singapore Post here. Only get my tracking info 3 days after the parcel has been delivered!

That's the problem with the national carriers. They don't get penalised when they don't do their jobs.

Thanks for the well-wishes, guys!

This little premium release arrived early this morning with no dents, dings, scratches, or spine alignment issues: I’m a lucky guy; that’s 3 for 3 on undamaged packages from this particular retailer!

Brilliant!

More important than any steelbook issues.
Congrats.

EDIT: Was working on a follow up post with more impressions and pics, but I've just found out my wife went into labor, so I guess it'll have to wait! :woot:

My most anticipated release for some time, the Special Box, shipped nice and safe by Tony all the way to New Zealand...has been ‘misplaced’ by New Zealand Post. An inquiry has been opened. I’m not too sure how to react at the moment. I’ll give them a few days before I have a core reactor meltdown.

Thanks for the great pics @Flloydo. Emily's poem was the thing that made me cave in to this package. I won't read it yet as I've not watched the movie, although very tempted to by your beautiful pic. ;)

My package on snail mail but should be in this week.

oh my, that's horrible!
Gets even better. Had a tense chat with a NZPost customer service rep today who got the pip, stated she had been in the job for ages and that the parcel had NOT arrived in New Zealand, even when faced with the tracking history from Korea Post clearly stating it had arrived and been passed to the local delivery service. Any other time I wouldn’t care, but with these steelbooks, if they’re lost, it’s nigh on impossible to replace them. Not that Customer Care seem to...er...care.
