Hey all,

Use this thread to chat about all things steelbook. Chat away ...

In an undetermined amount of time (when I need to submit GB addresses) I will then conduct the giveaway via random.org using the Post #s in this thread.

Your entries could be 1 (if you post 1 time) or 100 if you post 100 times.

At that time, I will figure out who wins the free DL TDK Blufans Edition. If you already bought the DL, you will get yours for free as I will refund you. ;)

I will host the giveaway LIVE on my IG by rolling the virtual dice first, if it lands on 5 then I will randomize the numbers 5 times and whatever # it lands on that post count # is the winner.

if we're talking about movies which can be considered 'trash' - i prefer the term 'guilty pleasure,' myself - i would like to suggest Deep Rising. the awesomeness that is an unrestrained Treat Wlliams, Fanke Janssen, cool monsters, & crappy dialogue with a wink to the audience.

Another TV series I was saddened to see canceled, was The Following with the same Kevin Bacon, beautiful Jessica Stroup, and an excellent James Purefoy, who should've been the next James Bond. His character is the most awesome, charismatic guy, only he likes to cut up young helpless women on an operating table - but he's the most sane and stable of all in this series. :naughty:
Second season of three was the best, with a bunch of evil characters, especially one played by Connie Nielsen. There was a lot of great songs used, but the most stand out, that went straight to my top 10 of all time, is the following reworking of a late 60's song by Creedence Clearwater Revival, performed by Peter Dreimanis of July Talk (he's a young thin guy, but sounds like a 60 year old giant).

Yes! Absolutely great movie, watched it in theaters twice! And was happy to get a new CE from Shout Factory a couple of years ago.

Honestly, Speed Racer is the most underrated film of all time. I swear we'll get to a point where people in the future will realize how this movie was ahead of its time

Alrighty then, time for best scenes: post your favorite scenes, if you can find them on YouTube.

Very impressed with the wild dramatic tension, and excellent original music by John Murphy from 28 Weeks Later:
