that's my type of giveaway here! nice1!

the first two terminator movies are in my favorite movies of all time. it was always mystified when i was a little kid, as a movie i'm not old enough yet to watch. but arnie was one of my idols when i was young (being of austrian origin just like me also helped), so i managed to see Terminator 1 when i was 10, and Terminator 2 when it came out at the age of 12. i saw both at home, with my younger (!) brother and a friend, on a VHS, recorded from tv. :scat:

here's one of my favorite scenes out of these two movies (however there are so many iconic scenes to pick from) - i get goose bumps when i think of it -

2) The first Terminator movie I saw was Terminator 2 and I saw it when I was 10-11 at a friends house. It was his older brother that was watching it and let us watch too.
In retrospect I wich I had seen it for the first time when I was a littler older and able to properly appreciate it's genius.

I try to see Terminator 1 at my local cinema when I was 13, but since it was rated, I have to wait a couple of years and watch in on tv!!

My film collection began with VHS copies of Gremlins, Superman IV (don't say a word) & The Terminator. At the time I was a good 8 years shy of the rating, so it was very cool watching this when the house was empty.

This is the only image that comes to my mind when I think of The Terminator.

T1.jpg

I actually just bought this on VHS last week for 10p, for old times sake.

Thanks David, brilliant giveaway.

I was about 10 when i first seen this at my uncles house and of course he didn't care what we watched haha ( he popped in a porn when me and my cousin was around 8 and than ran out of the room. My aunt came in caught us watching and my unk got in trouble...but he was still laughing...R.I.P )

I Remember My dad letting me watch The original with him, in the re-record not fade away days. I was 6 years old & he'd just received it from his video club (can't remember the name but they use to advertise in the news of the worlds magazine in the mid 80's)
He use to be a bit of a pirate in those days and had some crazy double stacked VHS player, that actually looked like it was an accessory for a T-800 :hilarious:
The TV was a sony 32" & was about the depth of a washing machine!

Was a quality day because it was my first real taste of Sci-fi & also a philosophical day with the old man. Good times.

Any Way :D Below is My Choice of picture, thanks for the giveaway
*Happy 2nd Anniversary *

This is some of the actual concept art from The Terminator. I love this image!

The image is from the website http://alancook.wordpress.com/tag/1984/

Follow the link to see a couple more great concept art pictures.

I watched this the first time at home with the family. I must have been about 9 or 10 at the time so probably 1999. The first and second films are 2 of my favorite films of all time. Arnie is one of my biggest idols and I'm glad to see him and his awesome quotes back on the big screen again.

Edit: Sorry forgot to say happy anniversary and thanks for yet another great giveaway!!!
