have ordered several OC's and never had to pay import tax direct.

Anyway, wasn’t all this supposed to start in January. I’ve not had any issues yet with customs or VAT. Fingers crossed for the future

He was trying to tell you that from July 1st law is coming in that abolishes the old rule of the threshold (€22) and you will have to pay Tax on ALL purchases from outside the EU. This applies to the EU.

To say 'I never had any bother with customs' or 'Manta mark the value low' is ignorant. There are more countries other than the UK......
