For the 'Unsealed' collectors that open and enjoy their steelbooks, what do you freely have to say for those that keep their steelbooks 'Sealed'!?
For the 'Sealed' collectors that keep 'em sealed, what do you freely have to say for those that 'Unseal' their steelbooks!?

TERMS ANS CONDITIONS!
1. Any member can enter regardless of post count.
2. To be eligible to enter, thank All of Wouter's collection and answer the simple Question!
3 - Giveaways will end on Thursday at 2000hrs UK time and drawn via Random Generator. A screen shot will be posted of the winner.
4 - Only ONE winner per giveaway. So if you are luckily enough to win more than once, the winner will be redrawn again.
5. Winner will be responsible for the Shipping and Packaging costs. UK winners will be sent second recorded delivery, and outside UK will have the option of tracked or non tracked.
6. The Winner will be tagged to the thread and a PM sent to confirm shipping costs. Once this is paid items will be shipped on Friday.
7. Please can Winners ensure they pay for the shipping ASAP, as I will be leaving on holiday for 3 weeks on Saturday and any shipping paid after will have to be sent after the Easter holidays

To each their own, honestly I mostly open mine to get out the digital copies as I don't use the discs so if I already have it on digital I am likely to not open it. You do you.

As an 'unsealed' collector, I would like to ask 'sealed' collectors about how regularly they clean all of the dust that collects over their sealed copies

I'm a hybrid collector in that I open some and leave others closed and pristine. Steelboks are about the packaging and fun stuff added to the release as well as the movie itself. Being a hybrid person I think of the steels like a great wine. Some you drink immediately while others you may want to wait in case it spikes in value and you can make a pretty penny on it. Cheers

Amazing Collection(s)!!!

Unsealed Collector: respectfully, we're all doing this for the enjoyment of movies and SteelBooks. I believe it is unrealistic to think these items will retain any more value than a DVD does today. Open them up and enjoy them, you're not likely to sell them anyway, and if/when you do, they likely won't be worth anything anyway, and you can't take them with you.

Amazing Collection!
Usually i dont open my special edition.
I love see all' in perfect condition.
I have more edition in my collection not only one edition of movie. And not open not is big problem for me.

Great giveaway

Unsealed.

Unfortunately for the majority of these items they will never hold thier value. That I believe is more evident now then ever before.
From day one I have opened my steelbooks for the artwork just as much as the film itself.

I envy those who currently have thier collections sealed though as in 5years when the value has depreciated some more. I reckon they will decide to open there collections and I can't begin to imagine the joy of opening one steelbook after another for a whole day.
