I would love to have an 8-bit steelbook, and then on the inside have some sick Sugar Rush/Vanellope art. But that's just this humble ninja's opinion.

Just to let you know I've decided not to write them an email about the artwork. If everybody here would have prefered the custom design I'd do it but not if it's not that clear as it was with The Prestige for example. But in my opinion the custom back would go very well with the front and make a much more beautiful Steelbook.

Opinions were very divided about this change. I just wish we could have got our poll and seen what the majority wanted.

I'm all for changing it myself, but not at the expense of those that prefer Zavvi's take on it. Think you've made the right decision Zebra.

The custom artwork shown has nothing to do with the movie itself, they will not cater towards the nerds. Penelope is involved in the movie and the story is based around her, the fix it felix part has nothing to do with the movie.

As much as I like the custom artwork myself...

the custom artwork and the original artwork has everything to do with the film itself.

The front is a perfect representation of what the "fix it felix" game is supposed to be. 8 bit games are supposed to be pixelated and lower resolution. Hence why they have the front cover and back custom the way they do because everything is supposed to be "squared" in Ralph's world

the movies IS NOT ALL ABOUT vanellope. Its about "home" and about the feeling of belonging. Thats part of the reason why they have 4 different worlds (which are all shaped differently) that are all essential to this movie

Personally i love the custom art, the original art and the blufans art. They are all beautiful in their own right

Anyone found their order reduced to £19.99? I had a 10% discount code sent to me from Zavvi because I hadn't bought anything for a while, re-ordered Wreck-It Ralph from £22.99 down to £20.69, went to cancel my original order and found it was reduced to a price lower than what I just ordered using the discount!

Frustratingly despite cancelling my new order, my 10% discount is now invalid so there that goes!

EDIT: Shoot, I forgot I used the RALPHTHENINJA code. My bad! I also must have been mad for thinking Zavvi would voluntarily price drop a steelbook before release!
