Oh right. I just assumed with Wreck it Ralph being part of their Disney Collection and Monsters University being part of their Pixar one they would have some say in it. If one steelbook part of a collection can get changed then I don't see why they couldn't change others especialy after the response to the steelbook (look at the forum for example people have been complaining since it was shown off). It's not like comparing Wreck it Rallph (part of a collection Zavvi are doing) to a steelbook not part of any collection like stand alone steels such as Sunshine, Big Trouble in Little China, Pans Labyrinth or The Worlds End for example

They used global artwork for a steelbook part of their collection. Why not hang on and do Monsters University in a years time or so, then do a unique, exclusive artwork for it. The whole point of the collection in my opinion was getting different artwork for the films, now one of them in the collection is part of a global release <sigh>

Why not hold off? Simple, they would have missed a years worth of people buying a new release, and Disney May have offered the steelbook to another retailer in the meantime

But they still could of done it and sold it for Disney, just not make it part of the Pixar Collection OR people who buy it on Zavvi would get different unique artwork

Just incase you missed out, this is still on Zavvi outlet for a very good price. Might pick up another 3? Only 3 available? cancellations? I'd watch the link as the price is likely to go down soon or this is a stunt to make people want to buy it when they release another 1000 on their site?

i would stay patient and wait.
there is such a big time gap between the item went OOS and the release date, i am sure there will be enough cancelled items until then.

I would guess its a holding price and will more than likely change when they confirm if they have any available stock

I picked up Aladdin for 24 quid when it came back in stock and it's certainly worth it. If this is nice, it could be a similar story, if it jumps in price and is matte and dark grey instead of black, different story.

It was difficult for me too, I hate paying 20 quid for an average release steelbook. I miss the days of 10 quid but aladdin had sold out very quickly and I knew after finding nemo it'd be great so it was worth it. I struggled with 20 pound with this as i didn't know if it would sell out and then drop in price if not or if it would even look nice after the disspointing 'the little mermaid'

I reakon so. Might only be a few but there will be cancellations and payment problems. This is my first double dip but I have a feeling I won't have enough for 2 so I may have to cancel 1
