It doesnt help matters that zavvi still have limited to 5000 on their site. There is no defense apart from who ever put it up on their site is dislexic (spelt wrongly on purpose)

Zavvi tells us their OOS with intentions of later releasing the other thousands with improved desirability and therefor they sell more copies but now they've seen that putting it back in stock would annoy us all making us cancel every order and therefor in the long run making them lose out.

My thought is that Disney/Zavvi changed their mind on the print run and the info wasn't updated or the print run was always 4,000 and we were given/the site was displaying incorrect info. If they had sold 5,000 units, they wouldn't reduce the print run because that would be stupid. The 4,000 print run was probably confirmed before the pre-order sold out therefore the pre-order was turned off with this figure in mind.

Only with Zavvi could a retailer announce a smaller than expected print run and collectors accuse them of foul play. There are always wild conspiracies and yet it has been proven time and again that their web staff are pretty incompetent. Their listings usually have errors and are never updated in a timely manner (if at all), yet collectors accuse them of concocting ridiculous schemes. Somehow I don't think Zavvi are capable of such mind games.

Even if this is so. It would still be sold out wouldnt it? Where did these few hundred copies suddenly spring from? :hilarious:

FYI-Wreck it Ralph has been reduced to 4000 qty (from 5000 which was stated in the OP). I have updated the 1st post. New release date is January 20th. The remaining qty should go on sale this Saturday 3pm UK time. Only a few hundred remain.

as glad as I am to get another chance at securing a copy, I really wish they;d see sense and hold onto these for potential replacement/damaged steels.

default ording 2 each time is really pissing me off

Actually I'm somewhat glad they decided to postpone it. With the inadequate packaging and the sheer volume of mail in the holiday season, it's almost a miracle if it gets through unscathed.

love it how the price is now £19.99, but when it was live first time round needed the ninja discount code to get it down to that price
