but wait a sec. the previous "deal' was price was 22.99 minus 3gbp coupon put the price at 19.99. since it's still preorder, does that mean zavvi will honor the 3 gbp off and put the price at 16.99 gbp?

They should do, the voucher is" £3 off Wreck it Ralph " not £3 off £22.99, but I doubt it as I've just had to e-mail them to point out that Alpha Papa dropped to £16.49 this week after they charged me £17.99.

I did ask after my WIR order though.

I was going to ask that question.
As we have used a HDN code then could HDN ask Zavvi this?
I thought that if the price drops then they honour the change before release
What to do:ohno:

Mine is still at £19.99 after using the WIR code. Hopefully this will be rectified soon.

As I already said they won't reduce the price on existing orders, from their terms and conditions:
Take advantage of our Pre-order Price Promise where you see this notice on selected products: -

Pre-order Price Promise: Order this product with us today and if we reduce the price between taking your order and the release date, we will charge you the lower price!

This offer is not to be used in conjunction with any other offers including any discount codes and bundle offers. We reserve the right to reject or cancel any orders which are used in conjunction with any other offers even if your credit or debit card has been charged.

I can't see Zavvi honouring a price drop.
They always have it listed as "save X amount" for their pre-orders, indicating the actual price is higher.

I hope they honour this, then we can get it for £16.99 :scat:

They will NOT honor price drops on existing orders. I have tried in the past and failed. Complaining emails wont help as zavvi are just a bunch of money grabbing jerks. Dont care about customers at all. Just shows in the quality of their steels and price increases over the past year.

Yeah, Zavvi sucks 90% of the time...

Aladdin was full gloss wasn't it?

Aladdin and Jungle Book were both glossy.

I stand corrected with Aladdin (had to pull it out, always thought it was a semi gloss, for some reason) but Jungle Book is definitely spot/semi gloss, ie. the characters and title. Maybe I'm worrying for nothing but it's make or break for me. Guess I don't really have a choice but to get at least one copy... which is what bugs me, but I guess it's part of the game.
