FYI-Wreck it Ralph has been reduced to 4000 qty (from 5000 which was stated in the OP). I have updated the 1st post. New release date is January 20th. The remaining qty should go on sale this Saturday 3pm UK time. Only a few hundred remain.

Zavvi just never updated their site.

Well with all the negativity and dislike of matte finishes here I'm sure the message is filtering through to retailers and then on to studios and then to whoever has final say. I'm confident for 2014 that we will see at least a bit more gloss.

I somewhere at some point read here in this very thread that a well informed member of this forum said that Zavvi is taking into account the need for a gloss finish voiced for this steelbook by this community! So we should be served the right stuff

I posted a photoshop image some pages back. I have a feeling ralph and the logo will be embossed with a boarder.

The boarder will likely be much thicker and the artwork will be smaller though.

They are not getting their shipment in when they expected. I kept getting the same email for Pan's Labyrinth and Jackie Brown but those eventually shipped.

Its because zavvi moved the release date, it should have been out by now, their system doesnt understand that so it keeps sending automatic "sorry" mails...

This is now £19.99, when I pre-ordered it was £22.99 + £3 discount.
Shouldn't that mean it should be at £16.99 then with Pre-order Price Promise.
