Probably some bad news! Contacted Zavvi last night about the finish and this is the reply:
"Hello Ian,
I have looked further into this for you and it does look like it will be a matt finish on this steelbook, however our manufacturer may opt to make this a gloss finish when the final product is produced.

well if they havent manufactured it yet get them to make it glossy surprised you got a quick response from zavvi tbh

Eugh! It will be so dull if it is matte.

I wouldn't mind a Rambo style matte with just Ralph's head and logo glossed.

Matt finish is disaster ! But couple weeks before release and they not ready , no way they will changed their minds in the middle of producing process.

I will be happy with that front but i more worried about back , matte back didn't work for me. Pixel picture on the back will work only if is gloss finish imo.

What if they go half and half? I think the only other time matte front and gloss back (with spot gloss) has been done was on DRIVE HMV

Exactly what I thought a couple of days ago... a matte back would look so stupid! Let's hope they change their minds and take a look into this thread
