Here is my classic trilogy Lego star wars collection!

I only collect figures from A New Hope to Jedi!

There are lots of pictures, especially the Death Star

You should get one mate, it's expensive but defiantly worth it! You get 24 minifigures with the set and the guy at the Lego shop said it might get discontinued this year! If it does then the eBay prices will go through the roof

The building is half the fun of collecting LEGO!! I'm a big kid at heart, my son and my girlfriend also help build them. So it's something we can do as a family

I think there's a misconception about Lego being for kids. Yes they do cater for kids, but the lego star wars, marvel franchise is clearly aimed at a mature audience. Ignoring the price of some of these stuff, the complexity is quite high.

Your dead right! Also they could never get played with. Some of the Lego Star Wars stuff I have, only needs to be lightly dusted and things start dropping off and sometimes they are a complete bugger to get back on

Lol! I don't think these are really designed with kids in mind! They fall apart so easily!

Pics 6, 7, 9, & 9 are all with the palace sitting on top of the Rancor pit! A couple of them I tried to photo looking the ought the top of Jabba's throne room trap door to the Rancor below!

I took a few without the Rancor pit, to show of JABBA'S palace with the minifigures, as they are two seperate Lego models!

A manager who retired at the end of least year bought his assisstants son the Republic Striker-class Starfighter (and I had been eyeing that in the store) and I was very jealous. All I go was a bottle of wine for a type that I don't even enjoy.

I may have to go out and buy the stupid thing now

Looks like you will have to bite the bullitt and buy it then mate if you really want it, then it'll be worth it!

I have all mine sitting in my sons room, luciky hes never tempted to play with them! He does enjoy looking at them though, some of them are ridiculously fragile. The X-Wing for example you only have to touch the bloody wing and they fall off, it takes about 40 mins to and hour to re attach them
