Nice Diz get that bike!!

Yea I love my steels but my QR Kilo is going to rock for me on the ironman and I ride hundreds of miles a month will get more joy out of the bike and I left a steel for some happy person that came in after me :) (still silly they only had 3 on the shelf though).

Looks like a very nice steel. War Horse was only released in one country worldwide too i believe and they were available for some time so its obvious this is very limited

So how many copies was this limited too exactly?

The soonest I can get over to BBY to pick mine up is tomorrow after work. I just hope that when I get there that they have actually put back the SteelBook and not the amaray for me otherwise I'll be out of luck on getting one. :(

Call the store to double check Kelly. Thats what I do now

I was IN my store when I checkedthe kiosk at 10:10 am and it said every store in the entire state was sold out. I knew this was bullshit because i hadnt checked out yet and I had all 4in my hand. So they SHOULD have said 4.

I suggest those not being turned off by it saying none available online. My guess is there is still chance you can find a copy in store. albeit this still was very limited so dont wait too long to check....

If I am not mistaken I think the tracker does not work once the inventory gets under a certain amount and like you said I can't hurt to swing by and see if there are any in store.

Certainly don't mean to spam, just giving some info for anyone who is looking for a region free player.

I get a lot of SteelBooks etc from the US and Canada, and I have several Zone A titles. I bought a cheap NZ region free player, but it can't play 3D Zone A, and I am going to get Dredd 3D from Amazon.com as its a better release than the UK version (7.1, Slipcover....).

just figured id ask bud ...make sure your account wasnt hacked or anything as it didnt mention ZDT so was just making sure is all. ;)

I called but I got there national helpline, not the actual store that it's at. She reassured me that it is in fact by SKU number the SteelBook. She could not actually pick it up and look at it since she was not at that actual location.

That really doesn't reassure me because once when I went down there to get my Sherlock Holmes 2 SteelBook it was in fact the amaray and not the SteelBook. Luckily they were able to go into the back storage and pull a copy for me but I fear that won't be so easy this time around. EEK!

put 3 back in a game section, paid the 3 and put it in your car, come back for the other 3 in the game section and paid for that next.

Ninja [nin-juh] pl. ninja or nin·jas; “A member of a feudal Japanese society of mercenary agents highly trained in martial arts and stealth (ninjutsu).

No s**t. :hilarious:

Guiness, yes, there is a treshold...and the stores turn on and off the 'stock available' and 'shipping unavailable' flags, so keep checking. It's happened numerous times over the years with different limited eds, especially on or around release day.

UPS man dropped off my order. Packaging looks scary... EEK!

At least your packaging had some padding. The white mailers used to ship mine have no padding. Needed one for me and one for a UK buddy. So I ordered four and two were defective. Just the insurance I needed. Took the bad ones back to BB today. Stopped by the new titles display and the ZD30 steels were all gone.

They'll probably send my returns back to the warehouse. Who knows what will happen after that.

I don't get it why you should be made to feel like you did something wrong by buying extra copies at the store because they are trying to limit the number you can buy.

I mean yes I understand people do put these up on ebay, at a quick glance looks like there are already 40 listings, and BB would want to ensure everyone is able to get their copy. But it is the free market, if I want to take my time to get to the store at opening and get copies for myself and people I know on this forum then there should be no issue. Also I can't understand a company wanting to turn away money. Go there and see how many extra copies of MIB 3 they have and you're telling me they wouldn't want those copy sold. It's ok to limit one but not the other.

I shouldn't get dirty looks. Am I wrong here

I think matter at hand this time around is how limited the quantity is. The company knows and acknowledges they only made x amount of copies, so they're trying to make it fair for everyone.

This must be a new trial run since TDKR and MIB3 were obviously overproduced

Not in the slightest. I feel the same way. The cashier actually rang up my six but then asked another associate about the 3 only policy. UGH

I was even in uniform. I mean come on. What's the point of being in the military if I don't get the occasionally extra steelbook copy :p

I understand that, but isn't it still the free market. I understand I could state that my copies are not going on ebay and they would roll their eyes but to seem almost angry that I was able to get the copies, I mean really.

Well at least I don't feel as bad now. Also the fact that at the store while I did deplete them they stil had stock and Ninjas here were able to get some copies. Plus whose to say that the guy who came in after me and bought doesn't actually go and put his copies on ebay
