Yeah only the stickers are different

yep...one of my first wants managed to get it long time ago...and opened it aswell to my surprise...
i have never seen a best debossing on a steel, neither have i seen such a nice mixture of colors

Yah that is one of the few German steels that I almost bought even with the printed back.

Gorgeous front cover. Cool matching disc art.

I settled for the standard amaray for this movie, but I do like this steelbook.

Quite a coin for this one though.

btw I watched this flick the other night. Scary as H E double hockey sticks.

A great movie to watch in a totally dark room.

So I have been on the hunt for this one for a long long time but have come across a bump in the road.....are their multiple versions of this particular steel that look exactly like this one? For example, I have come across a version that has the rating sticker attached and one that doesn't....I have come across one that has a Stephen king sticker on it and I have even come across a few that have completely different type of shrink wrap on them but are actually in fact factory sealed!

Of course being a collector I want the best version. Hopefully someone can shed a light on this. Sorry if this has already been answered.

well i think its rather foggy subject and most collectors have exactly the same questions.
i recon the first amount that was sold was with the stephen king sticker and without the fsk as it was introduced later.
if i remember correctly with some questions i had my self either on this one or der nebel, they sealed some copies later on just with the fsk sticker and another type of seal not as strong as the stephen king one,
hope that helps...
i cant be either 100% sure, so if any member here knows something more please enlighten us

Thanks pal but yes you are right as far as the shrink wrap and all goes! Hell I have seen copies with the Stephen king sticker on it yet they have different shrink wrap! I don't know which to look out for from a collectors stand point!

They are both Exactly the same steel, one was just a newer batch, if you keep them sealed then i would personally go for the first batch just because it was the first amount of stock to be put on sale, but if you open them then they are exactly the same except for the sticker due to being a seccond batch of stock
Just fyi i think the one without the fsk sticker is the 1st batch...
