Oh no! You can re-release anything but this one! It´s one of my favorites and it was so hard to get my hands on it! :( **** you Sony!:tear:

i read in an other forum that the credits will be printed on the back so there isent any backpaper or someting...

the fsk logo should be a sticker!

so i guess the rerelease will not exactly look like the first one

I've wanted this steelbook for ages, but I won't be buying the re-release for obvious reasons... it's a cash in and probably won't even be as good as the original anyway. The Play.com edition is the way to go IMO. :D

I dont know why folks get their knickers in a knot about these german re releases, going by previous ones it will have no inside art and a fugly FSK ratings logo printed on it...your 'investment' - if you look at your steelbooks in relation to their value rather than the artwork and the actual film inside it - is safe...

calm down :hilarious:

These will be like that cheap Best Buy wave that passed about 6 months ago, nobody has those on their wish list now, they still want the superior originals.

Good glad the back is printed, there has to be a difference from the original. I suspect may not be glossy like the original either.

green hornet is the only sb from this wave which have pics from the back and it looks exactly like the first one. so maybe zombieland and rest of the wave is going the same way?

I'll wait until we get confirmed artwork before I sign off on any one of these in this wave. There's a lot in this wave that I don't have so fingers crossed X for no printed FSK's and clean backs otherwise I'll pass.

If it looks like the original one, I'll gladly pick it up and cancel the play version. I understand the frustration of collectors, especially those who spent big bucks on the original version, but personally I don't care about the collecting aspect of steelbooks, so it doesn't bother me at all.

world invasion shows it is an sticker. i dont think they put printed backs and fsk stickers on some of these and leave it on the other ones. they will go the same for the whole wave i gues. all speculations, we will see at the end whos right ^^

Lol. I like the various post stating that this will be the "death" of the hobby. Far from it I think. This isn't even one of thr grails IMO. Anyways, when gaging how it will effect the original, you have to think of this in an ebay auction setting. To me, the front is by far the most important, thats the face you present to the world. You're not going to post a picture of the back as the main picture are you? Furhtermore, nobody's got x-ray vision, so no inside artwork won't be much of a factor. Now think about this, person A has his origianal for $200, right below him, person B has his re released list for a BIN of $40, with about 20-30 copies in hand. Which do you think a buyer would gravitate to, if he can't see the physical differences in the front? My soluition was not to throw the baby out with the bath water. Just throw the German releases out, problem solved.
