4K UHD Blu-ray is becoming a larger thing now and along with it comes many new, cool-looking slipcovers. Use this thread to discuss the slipcovers on the 4K Blu-ray releases, no matter which country.

This is to only talk about the slipcovers on the 4K releases. If you'd like to actually discuss the releases themselves, please head to the Blu-ray & 4K UHD Disc section instead. :thumbs:

No haul photo, but I just have to say, I absolutely love the 4K slipcovers that Universal is putting out in North America. The rounded corners and glossy photo-finish covers are extremely unique and clean-looking. I'll definitely be adding some to my shelf in the future! :drool:

You got that right! No slipcover = no buy. It's been like that for me for even Blurays now. If Pacific Rim gets a slip then yea i'll get that, besides that i'm only interested in BvS and Warcraft right now.

Well, I'll probably eventually get PS4 Neo next year, which will be a 2 in 1 for me. For TV, it's a bit more complicated for me because i want a 4K 3DTV and the cheapest one right now is $4K :wow: (oh that's interesting) Anyway, yea its a 65" Sony; i'll probably have to sell my 70" i have right now to start funding that.

I'll probably get The Shallows when it comes out, too.

I lucked out BIG time with the 4K 3DTV. In fact, that's really the only thing I've had any luck with this year. I won one with Tim Hortons' Roll Up the Rim last spring. :)

They are nice and colorful. It's the same artwork for Katniss but they just changed the background. And i think the 4th one is the same background...
I like the numbering too. Would've been nice if spine was numbered but it's not a big deal.
