4K UHD Blu-ray Slipcover Discussion Thread

4K UHD Blu-ray is becoming a larger thing now and along with it comes many new, cool-looking slipcovers. Use this thread to discuss the slipcovers on the 4K Blu-ray releases, no matter which country.

This is to only talk about the slipcovers on the 4K releases. If you'd like to actually discuss the releases themselves, please head to the Blu-ray & 4K UHD Disc section instead.

No haul photo, but I just have to say, I absolutely love the 4K slipcovers that Universal is putting out in North America. The rounded corners and glossy photo-finish covers are extremely unique and clean-looking. I'll definitely be adding some to my shelf in the future!

We need to somehow tell them to stop printing HDR on slipcovers and start using stickers. I think only Universal and Sony uses stickers right now.

Btw, slipcover mods @tridon @bloodsnake007, have you guys decided where to put the 4K Bluray slipcover threads? In the "Bluray Slipcovers" section or "Bluray & 4K UHD Disc" section? Because i see both sections have 4K slipcover threads. I thought the latter was for UHD disc releases? Personally, i think they should be under 'Bluray Slipcovers' section with the title having "4K Bluray"

Hey, bud. This is the thread for discussing 4K slipcovers only. The 'Blu-ray & 4K UHD Disc' section is where discussion should be for the actual 4K releases. So, for example, if you want to discuss the 4K release of Underworld, you should do it in its appropriate thread over in the 4K section. If you want to share a photo of its slipcover or talk about the slipcover only, that can be done over in here. I hope that kind of clarifies things.

I didnt mean this thread. But yes, it kind of clarifies things. It's just that i've seen some 4K slipcover threads over at 'Blu-ray & 4K UHD Disc' section, that's why. I just wanted to make sure before I create the 4K slipcover threads that it's under the correct section.

They are all sourced from Asian market and yes buying earlier is expensive.

I shop from TheCNL.com. It's a movie warehouse club based out of the Vancouver area. They sell all U.S. editions. They're usually quite pricey, but you can get releases 1-3 weeks early.

Not sure which Asian ones Netclone is mentioning. Maybe YesAsia?
