As mentioned previously - two standard steelbooks housed in a translucent slip with two Seasons per steelbook.

13 discs in total:
- 3 (Season One) discs on spindle one
- 4 (Season Two) discs on spindle two (yes, four discs on one spindle !)
- 3 (Season Three) discs on spindle three
- 3 (Season Four) discs on spindle four

Cool panoramic artwork from Oink Creative spread over both steels when joined together to form complete images on the front andback:-

No subs on these discs (n)(n)

I see this comment a lot about this release. I'm curious why this is such a deal breaker for people.

Personally, I never use or need subs unless it's in a language other than english. But I don't have a problem understanding most accents.

When one's native tongue isn't English, no matter how fluent one is in English, subtitles are a life-saver when the dialogue involves dialects, accents, whispering, mumbling, etc.

Coming from a relatively "small" language (Finnish), I was practically born reading subtitles, and reading them is as simple as breathing. I'm forever glad we don't get dubbing for foreign films or TV shows, except for kids' stuff.

When I can't make out what is being said, that can be a major distraction and ruins the immersion as I rewind or just keep going on, having potentially missed something crucial.

Having English subtitles saves me from that

I never thought of it that way before. That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for telling me. This release should definitely have subtitles in English.

Also, dubbing is the worst. I tried watching the dubbed version of Cable Girls that Netflix automatically played in English and I had to switch it to it's original mix (Spanish.) I've also had to prepare some Pro Tools sessions for M&E's and my soul died a little as I heard my work diminished in quality.

Yeah I'm from Spain and even having a good ear for english dialogues thanks to years of watching/playing/reading everything in english I tend to leave subs on in case I don't quite get something. I wouldn't call it a deal breaker but it sure makes me more wary of buying it if it isn't on a deep sale.

Yes, looks to be matte but still very, very nice with masses of gold metallic reflections seen to best effect in the 'after' German language unboxing (alas, no subs there either):-

£34.99 quid at Zavvi ATM seems fair but personally looking for £29.99 before Christmas :watch:

Totally agree with comments about lack of subtitles . . . to put it bluntly, not exactly a unique selling point as far as I'm concerned :(

Fitting 7 discs in one regular-sized steelbook - thus avoiding the cumbersome jumbo steels - is quite something . . . and doesn't look too problematic getting all the discs off the spindles

Late picking this one up from Zavvi (Wednesday the 9th) . . . now waiting trepidatiously to see what packaging they've used and in what condition the item arrives.
