it's 15€ to austria, still a horrendous shipping price, but starts to make sense to order from dvd-store.it if you plan to order a couple of things, as the 15€ are flat-rate and will stay the same.

Like the recent pop wave at a really aggressive price (9,50€ each) or the last 3D ones like Exodus or Big Hero 6 at an average price

Btw I'm really disappointed they delayed Ex Machina in our cinema till this late summer... there's lot of chance our steelbook edition will be delayed in autumn....

Missed this one at Zavvi. Ordering Whiplash and Ex Machina at the same time at dvd-store.it got me the same price level as ordering from Zavvi. Even though I pay 23€ for postage to Sweden. Hope it works out fine, haven´t ordered from them before. No date for Ex Machina.

That's quite a price tag for shipping. Do they supply that with tracking information?

in fact i havent completed an order with them yet, but i suppose it should be recorded shipping as the 15€ flat rate for recorded (tracked?) shipping is very common with italian retailers (i've ordered from soundohm.com, btf.it, rustblade.com, cometaedizionimusicali.it,..., all have the 15€ shipping price, no matter if 1 or 10 items -soundohm is a bit different though but that's offtopic anyway).

best is to try a test order (without completion), and see what comes up for shipping options. ;)
i hope that helps a bit.

Now that I have seen the movie I can say it's truly amazing:thumbs:. It's very different from the mainstream, meaning it's not about the action and cgi fest, but rather elegant and beautiful. Ex machina has such a great atmosphere from the beginning to the end and I loved every aspect of it. To me it's the best movie I have seen this year. Perhaps the ending wasn't exactly as I wanted it to be, but otherwise such a great little film. Domhnall Glesson, Alicia Vikander and Oscar Isaac gave great performances. It will be an honor to add this steelbook to my collection ;)

Wow, out so soon!
It hasn't even been released in theatres where I live. In fact, I am going to a free screening next week.
Really excited to see it.

I'm guessing you are in the US or Canada. This was actually released in the UK and other areas of Europe in January... since it is a British film. The Steelbook release corresponds to the time that it first hit the theaters.

This started showing in 1 theater last week, where I live, and opens tomorrow across most of the big theaters. I think I will just wait for the Steelbook as I will probably have it in my hands within the next 6 weeks. This past week I have seen a lot of advertisements for it on TV... dying to see it. Come on Zavvi, release it early!
