Thanks for the pics. I wish Warner would stop printing credits and movie rating logos on the back. It looks like one third of the back is covered in text. It's good enough to have it on the j-card. They should follow what other studios like Sony, Paramount, Disney/Marvel and E1 do with minimal writing.

Futurepak not Futureshop is the winner.

Let's see how the Steel book looks like. For the time being FP kicks ass and it arguably has the best embossing on any metal packaging I have come across. [emoji106]

To be honest FP is in a different league.

FP Vs Steelbook no contest here as the former has a superior art, embossing that runs from right to left and a super glossy finish. FP have also got a quality upgrade by making the metal more sturdier and thick than Steelbook.

The problem lies with Warner Brothers who are known to screwing up big releases:
Unfortunately Godzilla Steelbook is in this league (maybe slightly better) but thankfully Edge of Tomorrow seems to look decent going by the mockup pics.

How many times do you have to repeat again... and again... and again... the same stuff about how crap the finish on this release is compared to the almost perfect FuturPak ???? I'm with you, the finish is BAD, but WHY keep repeating it over and over...????

Those were reactions and replies based on the posts above. Maybe one or two may be out of the blue. It is posts like yours that causes trigger reaction and reopens the can of worms. Sorry if you feel offended.

There were discussions going on about FP vs SB and it was going back and forth.

Bit the bullet and bought it in store today since it is sold out online now. Didn't think there would be a run on it so better safe than sorry

They know me very well now at my local Future Shop where they keep aside a minty mint copy for me. Walked in and didn't even finish saying Godzilla steelbook and the staff had it ready for me. Opened it up in front of him as HE requested me to do so to ensure I was satisfied.

Now, just need some time to watch it LOL.

Not quite out of stock since the stores still have them. Online, yes definitely gone, but from time to time I do see online ones come back in stock with 1 or 2 units at most. Perfect example was Sin City where I thought it was gone, but then 2 more popped up 2 weeks later online.
