And with every one of these problems it is perfectly acceptable that they happen. However if anyone else messes about their customers in this way then it's unacceptable and mass cancellations will occur to take their business elsewhere. But blufans can **** you about for months and it's all fine.
Who says it's fine? I think lots of people complain about it. And rightfully so.

Patience is definitely a requirement for the BF game, I still get suprised by those that lose it.
I tend to think that they are in the wrong hobby, they could take a year to get GOTG to me and I would be fine, I love the movie.

BF Iron Man was worth the wait, I held off buying any other addition up until this and the Kimchi edition (which has been sold on) and if GOTG is half as good I will be stoked.

If you're talking about a certain UK retailer, then it's not a great contrast between them who operate merely as a business venture and Blufans an Asian retailer with top of the range goods that are legitimately made in small quantities. The same goes for them all, Kimchi/Blufans/Nova/Plain can justify their pitfalls as they are small independent retailers, I'm not saying they can be excused for not employing more people or can be given a free pass on quality control faux-pas. But as collectors we specialise with small particulars, like intricate attention to detail and with mass production and high demand it opens more doors for hiccups.

However that aside, these retailers don't hold back on quality over quantity or churn out fifty to the dozen sub-par mediocre Steelbooks on a daily basis. They also don't run into an abundance of stock mysteriously lurking in the warehouse and increase the price in the next coming months. That alone is commendable.

You pay for quality, not always does it work out for some of us but they'd have to be some kind of majestic sky fairy in order to please an entire legion of collectors.

If it takes BF a year to ensure a high quality finished product then I'll settle for that over a mediocre rushed effort.

Well im a sort of collector that doesnt buy all films in steel, only films i really love. Others i can handle having in amaray or a boxset.

Yep same dude, I still buy more standard amaray releases from my local HMV and Amazon than I do steelbooks. I've become very picky on those only buying films I love and only if they are quality editions. Bought less than 10 steels since Christmas and only have a few on preorder.

So far this year ive bought all 6 fast and furious movies as ive been wanting them in steel for awhile, ive got the pirates of the caribbean films on order and the jurassic park movies.

I'd love to get this, or any blu-fans for that matter, BUT I hate having the Chinese writing on the slip or back of the lenti. I suppose the ultimate edition for me would be the Nova full slip with this steel inside!

I don't mind foreign text on the slips as long as the steelbook itself is free of it.
I can always Google running time & extras if needs be.

it's a Chinese company, of course the back will be fully written in Chinese and often they put the chinese text with the english one on the lenti itself... sometimes they just put the english like Frozen on the lenti, but you better make your peace with having generally Chinese written where they decide. If you want a Blufans, you better expect Chinese written on it ! Blufans without Chinese on it would not be a Blufans...and it's a big part of it, without the Chinese written data sheet or title on some release it would not have the exotic feel that they have. they don't have the same way of doing things, they do as they please...wall-e on fullslip and Lenti has chinese title as well and it works ! It's Blufans !
