My V1 andV2Lenti arrrrived safe and sound this morning.

Thanks to John and the crew for all their work in getting it here :)

Only realized upon opening the pacckage, that the slipbox is actually back to front, with the opening on the left instead of the right, and the lenti on the back as it were. Very odd.
That said, nice to see the slipbox has properly returned edges - the lack of which I found very disappoiting with my Kimchi Memento.
A lot of the blu-fans releases have the lenti on the back, you get used to it!:)

I don't know why people don't like the lenticular on the Blufans version. The depth of the images is just awesome. Maybe the transition could be smoother but you can't argue with the 3D depth. The Kimchi lenticulars are too flat and just have a transition effect. To me Blufans wins both in terms of steelbook as well as lenticular.

I agree with you about the depth. I think the biggest issue with this Lenti is the combination of the 3D effect and the IM-TS transition. The 3D effect only would be much better, but this is just my opinion.

I recieved today a second copy of the Lenticular edition and i was just EEK!EEK!EEK!
The left Lenti is the new one......, the right one is very blurry and it is not even possible to make a full size picture from IM, because the shoulders always shine through, but let the pictures speak........

That happens a lot, it just depends how they are put on. I have quite a few Steels that have off centre spines.

I know this happens a lot. This was the case with my IM Kimchi. And I guessing about half of the IM BF release was plagued with this.

I see this on a lot of US Steels too from time to time.

BUT, I see this as a FACTORY IMPERFECTION. Not truly Mint, IMO.

So I really go out of my way to make sure I get copies with perfectly centered spines. I go so far as to ask second hand sellers to double check their products for this when I am buying something.

If I say, "I am a Spine Guy", you will agree. Imperfections of any kind on a spine just kills me...

It is annoying but as long as they are not too far off I can live with it. I would prefer them all to be perfectly centred but ufortunatly a lot if them aren't. I can understand how it is annoying though, I just think it's not the worst thing that can happen. Rather a mis aligned spine than a dent!:)
