There is a reason why I dont open my steelbooks. If I did I would be all bent out of shape like others on here. I sleep good at night. I see so many on here freaking out all the time. Relax its just a steelbook. Not a $1,000,000 diamond.
you just broke my hear! :(......i had you on pedestal man! why? why? ...llol

This is the second Kimchi steel I've seen with a "bulging", ploppy front cover, presumably from shoddy embossing. Fifth Element was the same, both protrude far enough past the surrounding border that they create a gap between it and the movie next to it on the shelf, which is just plain ridiculous.

Disappointing, because every other facet of the steel is great, condition-wise mine is perfectly fine, but the bulgy front is just too lame to ignore. I've already seen one other person mention this issue, are they all this way?

You guys do realize that once you open a glossy steelbook and take it in and out of the slips, you are creating more scratches...Glossy steels are very scratch prone. The mere action of the slips sliding up and down does indeed scratch the surface even more.

My steelbook makes that 'popping' sound when I put any kind of pressure on it while handling it. What's the deal? I expected a more sturdy product. Didn't notice the first couple of times because maybe I was handling it with great care initially. So that and the very dark image on the back are two negatives.:(

My 1-Click has the exact same problem. Right when I pulled it out and all 3 are shrink wrapped together I immediately found that one side had this popping if I put the slightest bit of pressure. Does every single one have this defect or is it just a certain % of the stock?

This is why I don't like "O-Ring" type slips. Shame that kimchi is still using this type of slipcover. And because they're open-ended slips, they HAVE to be tightly fitted, practically ensuring surface damage. For this reason, Kimchi steels are just for showcasing and not actually opening - bummer for those of us who like to open them.

Right, so I'll start off with the good news... My Lenti B is more or less flawless and the steel inside that one I'm very happy with :D In certain angles a few hairline marks etc are visible but overall, it's mint in comparison to others I've seen...

Looks great, I wish mine were like that

I'm sorry to see so many ninjas having issues with their copies. I just cracked open my one-click expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised.

All three slips were absolutely mint and the Steelbooks themselves were virtually flawless. One was mint and the other two had a single speck of dust that had been painted over as sometimes happens with these glossy finishes. There's a very fine scratch in the finish on the back of one copy, but nothing like what many are finding theirs (or my HDzeta T1 steel for that matter).

I'm loving this release. The lentis look miles better once you pull off the plastic cover. And I'm actually digging the paper sleeve inside the lentis. I'd still prefer a side-opening slip, but it fits really well in the slips I received and makes it look a step above a hollow slip IMO.

I hope everyone who has issues with their copies gets them resolved. It's a gorgeous release when not marred by manufacturing defects.

Note: if you dont like the paper sleeve that holds the steel in place in the lenti editions (i kept mine in on my Lenti B but not A Type), you can always put the steel in one of those SC2 slipcover protectors. Fits nicely in the lenti slips.

Is it normal for Hong Kong post to have delay in updating tracking?

Hong Kong post doesn't provide additional tracking entries. You should be able to track it via Royal Mail once the parcel has reached the UK

https://www.17track.net/en should work well, too.
