Right, so I'll start off with the good news... My Lenti B is more or less flawless and the steel inside that one I'm very happy with :D In certain angles a few hairline marks etc are visible but overall, it's mint in comparison to others I've seen...

WOW Very nice  mine is far from looking that nice. But still is nice though despite the Flaws, but hoping for new steels to come soon.

Now for the bad news.... (n) The steel inside Lenti A is quite a mess as others have unfortunately suffered. Numerous marks, surface scratches and overall poor gloss finish :squint: Also, the actual lenti has quite a few scratches once I'd removed the so called "protective" film o_O:blackeye::meh: What's the purpose of a protective film if the lenti is already defective... ? :banghead: Quite difficult to photograph but the scratches on the lenti appear worse in-hand :(

I got mine today. Some light scratches in top left hand corner, but nothing I haven't seen before and nothing that I'd kick up a fuss about.

Really pleased with the package and beautiful steel, though the slip is very loose.

So there are good copies out there. Mine looks much worse than any posted here. I was asked to send everything back to Tony and that I will do ASAP. I will take pictures before I send them back so everybody understands how horrible my copies are.

The function of the protective sleeve is probably more to hide the defects, which would otherwise be detected easily without opening the edition...

Im scared to open mine:wow:.My lenti looks ok though

My Lenti was in absolute Perfect Condition, from the lenti, the slipcover which is matt in back artwork super smooth no scratches as we sometimes have seen on those matt finish, inside card holding the steel as well perfect, Bonus Items all wonderful, It was when I removed the shrink wrap of Steel that I noticed the imperfections. You may be lucky and have a perfect steel, but even though mine had defects scratches and discolouration's it still looked nice. But if you have a copy similar to mine with minor scuff makes it's not that bad but back art with discolouration is what is the worse, it's suppose to be super Glossy and perfect but was full of discolored marks...

I can understand the logic....

That's what I thought before I opened mine.... :hilarious:

I'm glad I did though as the lenti effect is so much clearer once that ugly, wrinkled film is removed :p Buying an edition with this protective film on with the intention to "keep sealed" isn't ideal IMO. Too much of an eye-sore... o_O

I cant see them unless you shine lite on them in certain areas. GLoss and black don't go together well. If you have a white steel it could have even worse scratches and you would never see them. All steelbooks with a glossy finish have scratches, it just depends which one hides them better.

There is a reason why I dont open my steelbooks. If I did I would be all bent out of shape like others on here. I sleep good at night. I see so many on here freaking out all the time. Relax its just a steelbook. Not a $1,000,000 diamond.
