yup secure network... checked that.
Today I re-ran the test and I got:

thats still way less then what I was originally getting... it seems to very inconsistent.... what gives ? Could it be my computer?
Checked again and Im running at my usual for this computer (my other computer due to network location runs around 40mbps+)

we're quite behind in the uk in terms of broadband technology/speed. im currently on the fastest domestic service available on a copper line without fibre being involved. router currently synced at 20610kbps down and 2607kbps up on an annex m adsl2+ profile with a very short line length. the telephone exchange is round the corner from me and i can see it from my bedroom window. paying £5 a month for this as its o2 broadband and i work for them.
