Definitely! And not forgetting Punch-Drunk Love. I'd also like to see them do There Will Be Blood... Zavvi's version is nice, but I know PA could do a lot better, and it's such a great film that I wouldn't mind double dipping.

Yeh, the Zavvi one has nice art but imo the metalic finish is nothing compared to what PA could do, would be great to see that in a PA release

Beautiful artwork. Also really love the film so I don't think I can resist this beauty. Well done PA, stay the course with the choice in movies you're taking on - you're on a roll.

Very classy artwork from Plain! But I wouldn't expect anything less!!!

Now I have to decided which version to get. As I'm not double dipping on a film I'm not overly mad about. Decisions, decisions...:ohno:
Will wait till the full package is revealed for both versions then decide...:p

Edit: knowing Plain, will there be 3 different versions? :ohno: :naughty:

Watched this on SkyHD a few weeks ago and thought it was ok! But the artwork and design from Plain is Amazing. So that's the selling point for me this time...

As all here are fans maybe someone could answer a question: what is the meaning of the bike scene? It baffled me somewhat and seeing as it features on a steelbook it must be of some importance...anyone care to share their interpretations?

Man, I'm so pumped for this! I love this film and the artwork we've seen so far for the keepcase slip and now this steel art looks stunning! I also hope they do a matte finish for this, would definitely work with the artwork better. I felt the same way about the Wrestler too, but it was gloss and I'm guessing this one will be as well. It'll still be awesome though! :D

For me it was simply the realization (one of many throughout Processing) that Dodd was simply unable to tame Freddie. That he understood Freddie's wild impulses and erratic reactions to the world around him and to try and appease the instincts he created this exercise of riding the bike as hard and as fast as you can - while maintaining control unto where he was supposed to go to and when to stop. When Freddie keeps riding it's Dodd's realization that he can't supplant that which he truly doesn't understand. That no matter how much time he puts into the indoctrination process, he can never truly have a man like Freddie under his control.

[Q UOTE="thecardman23, post: 1130829, member: 16238"]Seems kinda weird this film is getting a steelbook. Doesn't fit the arthouse vibe.

Should have been a normal slipbox release...[/QUOTE]
Agreed.

A Couple of Notes
- The Master PLAIN ARCHIVE Exclusive will have both a Slipcase Edition (#006 Released in October) and this Steelbook Edition (#S03 Released in December)
- The Full Artwork Details for Each Package will be shown before the Slipcase Pre-Order takes place later this month or very early September
- Yeah, and I will be getting both!!

It's going to be a PLAIN Christmas! :)

The Wrestler was matte, not gloss.
