i smell a scent of irony here.
but i agree, one of the main reasons i love PA so much is that they don't go the easy way with movie choices, but risk something by picking movies with actual substance. @blu-steel if you want more cgi blockbuster mainstream, i'm sure you know that there's plenty of other studios where you can get happy.

Plain Archive
We all can agree they do fantastic packaging with amazing attention to detail that puts all other retailers to shame

Plain Archive are a retailer they are not a film studio
Their releases are films on Blu ray from different film studios that's already available from lots of other retailers but the difference is that they give you brilliant artwork and packaging of a release compared to other retailers exclusives or general releases available to all retailers

Most of their releases so far have not been mainstream films and some are films people never even seen or known about the film

I think what blu-steel means is imagine what they could do with more popular films be it a blockbuster or an other popular release already selling well and future releases that would sell lots


I personally would choose Plain Archive if the packaging was to same standard as already plain archive releases over another retailer release if it was a blockbuster film

We have Zero Dark Thirty coming soon which can be described as mainstream popular film and it will have Plain Archive amazing packaging

Plain Archive also have created the artwork for some NovaMedia and Kimchidvd releases


I love the Mater Full Slip its amazing

I would love to see them do more popular films with exclusive Plain Archive amazing artwork and packaging and extras as for me it would be a simple choice to purchase from them instead other retailers as long as they kept the same high standard we seen so far

Their choice of films always seem to be popular with most people and sell out, so why would they change that? I certainly hope they never do!

I hope they will stick to their route. First worldwide Steelbook for The Master is a great achievement for such a small company. ISTD was almost too. Its also a nice addition that they got "Director approved artworks" for most of their releases and not only which artwork the studio allow to use.

I don't need a Transformers Steelbook with a Beewax sealing button on the envelope and handmade booklet. Fits better to smart cinema
