Just busted my full slip open last night and watched the movie for the first time. Like nearly all the steelbooks I buy... this was a blind buy. I've seen the first 2, so it's not outrageous for me to feel that I know what I'm getting into with #3.

First... let me say that this movie is AMAZING. My favorite of the trilogy for sure. What a cinematic achievement this film is. Will definitely be watching again.

Second... this package from Manta Lab is ultra fantastic. The slip will be contender for full slip of the year. The steelbook is perfect... with buttery gloss finish and debossed bright red title. The booklet hits the spot.

Very pleased overall. Very pleased.

I have sent the shipping list over 2 weeks back, all orders have not shipped yet (both direct and GB customers). I will let you know once I have more info; Last info I have from mid last week is that they were still packing the remaining parcels.

Yes this includes my personal order as well.

Update: John was sick and decommissioned, GB shipping bill will be out today and packages will be shipped out this week.

Finally arrived and now I can compare the pair of them in hand



Prefer the image used by FA however the colours are a little muted compared to Manta's. Hard to choose a winner tbh.

Also been wanting to compare these two slips



Apes has a nice rough texture on the white parts as oppose to the silky finish on Covenent. Main images on both are spot glossed

All my Manta releases thus far (bar the DC ones) lined up

Very nice, thanks for comparison. Colors on FA steel seems more in cold tone which fits the movie more, but somehow I like Manta steel better, there is more detailed debossing (on small letters) and better gloss. I must hunt down some of those Manta editions later.
