I don't regret buying the Kimchi edition, this will probably be inferior in every way.
If it's the same actual Steelbook case it wouldn't bother me personally. Art cards and slips etc...I can do without. Especially as I don't keep mine sealed. Wouldn't have to worry about customs either. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Good, well made and worthy film but far too depressing to watch more than once, can't see why anyone would want this for repeat viewing, same as something like Schindlers list or to a lesser extent requiem for a dream, all of them put me in a complete downer
Damn Zavvi, just jump on the bandwagon. What's next? Amélie?!
If it's the same basic design as Kimchi, I'm just about to save myself about £20 quid on importing it

Without the bells and whistles for that price, but when zavvi get it right, their best steelbooks are up with the best.

For all I think the designs are great of the full slips, lenticulars etc, if given the option just to buy the steelbook for £10 cheaper, I'd go with that every time.

Depressing films can make you appreciate what you have and/or the humdrum of life all the more imo.

As for this automatically being inferior to the Kimchi - if they do it right, like Brave, etc., then Kimchi can save their slips and artcards, and I'll save about £30 in postage and import duties, VAT, etc.

Drive, Iron Man etc released in the UK/EU are being released in Asia. So nothing wrong with UK doing the same.
However I am concerned about the Steelbook release as I think the distributor is Sewage Canal.

I have watched Schindler's List more times than any other movie, it's an amazing film and makes you appreciate just how lucky you are.

I personally think what Zavvi are doing atm is quite good, as with LGB they are providing cheaper alternatives to the expensive Asian releases... I am happy with my Kimchi edition but i think that this is a good thing for others 
Queue the asian army trying to convince themselves and everyone else that their one is better and more exclusive despite it more than likely being the same steelbook sans the flimsy cards that cost 4p to produce!
StudioCanal are going through their catalogue, so this was inevitable. It's not as if Zavvi are cashing in on the popularity of the Kimchi edition.
I agree but if this is the standard StudioCanal affair, it won't come close to matching the Kimchi edition purely in terms of the Steelbook itself.
