Thank you! Omg 20?! Also, if I manage to make 20 (I don't tend to post a lot on forums) how do I even go about joining a group buy? Proper newb here!

You don't need 20 posts for Mondo GBs, just click the links for either Drum18's or biscuitnoir's groupbuys at the top of the original post!

The 20 post restriction is for group buys taking place in the general groupbuy forum located elsewhere on the site, while the Mondo releases are in the very sub forum you're already posting to. It would still be worth hanging around and getting your post count up though since, as many here would attest to, it always starts with one....

I like how the back art is more artistic looking now as opposed to just plain back with a logo etc.

Obviously I'd much rather have more art on the back like how the fronts are ... but for the most part that makes things much more complicated when dealing with older works.

Maybe when we see stuff coordinated like if AoU print drops and steelbook announced its covered in glorious art front and back. This is all just me speaking as a fan so please folks don't assume I'm saying this will happen.
Find the sweet spot, right?

Love it. I was thrown by the purple at first glance, but now with the additional pics it looks really nice. Really love the Mondo X clear slipcovers--I wouldn't mind other studios/vendors picking up that trend.

The care and detail that goes into these steelbooks really does impress me. For instance, the way the discs contribute to the inside artwork for Pan's Labyrinth. Likewise, there's very few steelbooks where you open them up and end up spending a few moments admiring the disc artwork but that's certainly the case with Looper. I own 16 steelbooks with a few more on the way but Drive, Boyhood and Looper are pretty much the only ones that I regularly take off the shelf to admire.

Terrific artwork. Superb colors. And Nice artist interpretation photos. I will wait for couple of more Mondo Steelbook releases. And Will buy all of these together to save shipping costs.
