Best Buy is running a promotion where you purchase any HBO set and you get the Game of Thrones 1st Episode - either blu-ray or DVD - free.

I've been reading in some other areas that you can go into a Best Buy store and purchase the Sampler disc for .01 as it as marked as such.

Folks are selling these on e-bay for $11 or more.

At my local store, which appears to have an e-bay reseller, was completely cleared out of any Sampler discs - blu-ray and DVD.

I'm not using this as a trade thread, but if any members go to their local Best Buy store, and find a copy they can purchase, I would compensate them a small amount for their time in return for a copy.

I'm sure other members would be interested as well.

I saw the dvd ones at my store yesterday for 1 cent. But I didnt see blu-ray. I wont be heading back for like a week tho ... so I cant help.

Thanks for the thought tho - when I went into my local store and I was PEEVED that someone cleaned out the entire thing.

They obviously didn't sell ANY of the HBO sets because each of them had two copies per section - so someone just went in and bought all of the sampler copies.

Yeah i didnt see any BD ones at my store ... just like 3/4 of the penny dvd ones.

I was lucky to get the last copy last saturday on 1 of the 2 stores I went, on my quick trip to USA, unfortunately no Boardwalk Empire BR at any store.

I did take 3 pre order kay chains
