Nice artwork but maybe a tad overloaded with the red..
I'd love to see some more minimalistic artwork, maybe even some horizontal steelbooks, especially in the following styles, although they're probably more suited to my taste than others as some of them may be too plain for some,

I also think some more minimalistic artwork could have been quite cool. 2001 certainly has not shortage of amazing shots to choose from. Not sure if anyone is interested, but I was lucky enough to go to a Kubrick exhibit and was amazed at some of the concept artwork for the stargate sequence:

Any ideas from past ToC releases if the blu-ray will be region-free? The previous 2001 steel from Zavvi was region 2, right?
Also, the Zavvi email announcement says, "PLUS even more special features!" Do they mean the flimsy plastic box, or is there something else coming?

Not sure about later releases in the UK but the first UK release was Region Free ...

if they tried to play and emphasized on RED, seeing the inside art, now i think it'd be more appropriate to be the front since the existing front never looked that red in the film...
