Seriously though, it's in my all time top 5 but it's not a title that's easy to like. For one thing it's painfully slow, cerebral and it's very obviously a product of its time but in my opinion well worth it. My advice is to catch it on tv, rent or borrow the bluray/dvd and decide from there. It also helps if you can read the book by Arthur C Clarke.

WTF? I bought a new one becuase my first one had a small dent. This one has the same dent in the EXACT same location. It's where the "version francaise" sticker was over the wrapping. Does anyone own a copy that doesn't have that dent?

alot of different steels have that dent behind that blue sticker, when i buy at fshop i always take that blue sticker off just for that reason.

How do you take the sticker off without getting the dent?

since the sticker is on the outside of the wrapping i just use my fingernail and lift from 1 corner. i have zero dents on any steels i have bought with that blue sticker on the front. i always check at fshop before i buy them for a perfect copy.

Hmm. I was extra careful when taking off the wrapping, I just don't know how I could've dented it.

its probably how hard they apply the blue sticker at the manufacturer plant that causes the dent.
