Info regarding missing Audio Track at Flicker Alley site and Disc Replacement Form:

*Confirmed: No need to send back the original disc*

Dear Flicker Alley Customer: Please note that one of the bonus feature audio options on the Blu-ray disc of our limited SteelBook edition -- A Trip to the Moon in B&W Audio Option 1, featuring Robert Israel's orchestral score and the original English narration written by Georges Melies -- is currently missing its narration track and only features Robert Israel's orchestral score. As such, all Blu-ray discs shipped at this time will be with this orchestral score only configuration.

This only affects the Blu-ray disc of this set. The DVD disc in this publication contains the correct audio for this bonus feature.

We are currently in the process of remastering and remanufacturing a Blu-ray disc which will have the correct audio option for this particular bonus feature, and will make it available by request to customers who fill out our on-line Disc Replacement Form below.

Please complete the following form with as much of your original order information as possible (to verify your purchase) and we will contact you once the replacement discs have been manufactured and are ready for shipment.

ordered 2.. received 1. anyone else have this problem?

ordered 2 in one order and 1 in a later order got the one first but not the two yet

Anyone have any ideas for modifying this one with some cool inside artwork?
Also Keep or remove the sticker on the front, opinions?

I'm thinking of the image on page 14 of the booklet if I can either find a high res one or scan the page itself

Hey folks-Flicker Alley is working with several distributing parties to get these out to customer. As already posted by a few members, they've received them. Official date is April 10, but they may come sooner. I would not worry at this point.

What a gorgeous looking steelbook. As an animation/film student I am very excited about this release. Can't wait to see it in person.

Can anyone comment on the sound issue with this printing?

My copy has arrived in the UK - yay! I'm running home to unpackage it shortly, came in a box so hopefully in one perfect piece and with no customs (always a bonus) :D

Oooh just opened it - perfect! This is a real beauty!

Problems with audio

Hi,

I'm new to this forum but have been following this thread for a while.

I also ordered from flickeralley, however, am still waiting for my copy.

When checking my order, I got this message:

A Trip to the Moon in B&W Audio Option 1, featuring Robert Israel's orchestral score and the original English narration written by Georges Melies -- is currently missing its narration track and only features Robert Israel's orchestral score.

They will replace it but you have to request it on their website.

Regards,

Isabelle
