Info regarding missing Audio Track at Flicker Alley site and Disc Replacement Form:

*Confirmed: No need to send back the original disc*

Dear Flicker Alley Customer: Please note that one of the bonus feature audio options on the Blu-ray disc of our limited SteelBook edition -- A Trip to the Moon in B&W Audio Option 1, featuring Robert Israel's orchestral score and the original English narration written by Georges Melies -- is currently missing its narration track and only features Robert Israel's orchestral score. As such, all Blu-ray discs shipped at this time will be with this orchestral score only configuration.

This only affects the Blu-ray disc of this set. The DVD disc in this publication contains the correct audio for this bonus feature.

We are currently in the process of remastering and remanufacturing a Blu-ray disc which will have the correct audio option for this particular bonus feature, and will make it available by request to customers who fill out our on-line Disc Replacement Form below.

Please complete the following form with as much of your original order information as possible (to verify your purchase) and we will contact you once the replacement discs have been manufactured and are ready for shipment.

The ordering link for the SB is on the OP. The Ama.com link might be for the regular Blu.

No, it is being released because new prints were found and restored recently (and new score was written by Air). Scorsese's Hugo will boost the sales, no doubt about that.

Yea I just watched Hugo last night, and George Melies was a big character in that movie. If this movie is actually like the one shown in Hugo I'm def not gonna bother opening it haha

Anyone know if this is the same thing? It's mentioned on another site that this is the Steelbook, but there's no mention of Steelbook in the title. I would assume by the price that it is the Steelbook, but just not sure. My friend wants to order from Amazon, because he won't be charged until the release date.

Oh, I know Flicker Alley is selling the Steelbook. It just seems like this is the Steelbook as well, especially as the price is the same. Both are 39.99.

Le Voyage Dans La Lune (1902)

Last week I saw that Flicker Alley will be releasing George Melies` film Le Voyage Dans La Lune (A Trip To The Moon) on blu-ray at the month.
Today I found out, via the site of Flicker Alley, that the release will come in a limited edition steelbook!!

From the Flicker alley website:

Pssst!!!! Last week we announced the release of Georges Méliès’ A Trip to the Moon in its original 1902 colors (and featuring a soundtrack by AIR) and Lobster Films‘ new feature length documentary The Extraordinary Voyage in a limited 2-Disc BD/DVD G2 SteelBook Edition

and
Q: What size does the SteelBook Case come in? Is it DVD size (G1) or Blu-ray size (G2)?

A: It’s Blu-ray size, also known as G2. To clarify: both a Blu-ray and a DVD will be included inside of the Blu-ray sized SteelBook case.

I`m not yet allowed to post links and images because of my post count (what`s with that??). So if i got enough posts I will add them to this post
Nice!!! Just my copy tonight via planetaxel
