Info regarding missing Audio Track at Flicker Alley site and Disc Replacement Form:

*Confirmed: No need to send back the original disc*

Dear Flicker Alley Customer: Please note that one of the bonus feature audio options on the Blu-ray disc of our limited SteelBook edition -- A Trip to the Moon in B&W Audio Option 1, featuring Robert Israel's orchestral score and the original English narration written by Georges Melies -- is currently missing its narration track and only features Robert Israel's orchestral score. As such, all Blu-ray discs shipped at this time will be with this orchestral score only configuration.

This only affects the Blu-ray disc of this set. The DVD disc in this publication contains the correct audio for this bonus feature.

We are currently in the process of remastering and remanufacturing a Blu-ray disc which will have the correct audio option for this particular bonus feature, and will make it available by request to customers who fill out our on-line Disc Replacement Form below.

Please complete the following form with as much of your original order information as possible (to verify your purchase) and we will contact you once the replacement discs have been manufactured and are ready for shipment.

Great pictures, I agree, but the bonus is the steel looks 100x better in the flesh than it does in the pictures :scat:

Well, I can't wait then. Just picked it up off of AMZ.com for $6.35. Thank you very much AMZ points! :scat:

Is the release date really April 10th though? Or have they been releasing it early? Seems like quite a few people are have theirs.

Most replacement disc programs you have to ship the original disc to get the new updated disc, so you would have to open your steelbook.

Atleast, it might not be the case for international orders. If it is, then Flicker Alley has to bear the shipping cost of sending the defective disc back and it will be definitely a considerable amount.

I am assuming that the replacement disc will be sent free of charge. Disc Replacement Form is already available here - http://earworminc.com/flicker/returns/

It doesn't mention anything about returning the defective disc.

I just received my several copies in the mail today. They are absolutely stunning in person. I know the defective disc may be upsetting to some, but to me there to gorgeous to open anyway.

It was great to see Flicker Alley respond so soon to the issue and offer the disc replacement program.

Oh man, hopefully we don't need to ship the disc back because I am not opening mine. :/
Is this thing still limited to 4000 copies? I am wondering because they opened the preorders for Amazon.com too.

So the blu ray disc doesn't work or is just missing something?
