I received my copy today and I like the design. It was a blind buy. I have never seen the show so look forward sometime to watching it.

If the question is what could have made Avengers Assemble, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Agent Carter, Frozen and Inside Out better, the answer is 'should have been gloss'. Oh, and titles on the spine where applicable.

I can't wait to see what matte title-less design they come up with for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It won't be the poster art, and based on GotG and Ant-Man, we'll probably get a grey panel with a few red stripes on it that's supposed to look like the side of an X-Wing.

2 discs? I thought they might have been able to squeeze all the episodes on one disc then put the special features on the other. It only had like 8 episodes right?

Each episode clocks in at around 50 minutes and squeezing too much information onto one disc might effect the quality.

Oh sorry, my mistake; this is what I get for replying to something before my morning coffee .
The UK slip edition doesn't come out until tomorrow, but is unlikely to have any em/debossing.

The front artwork is quite nice but the back is a complete waste. The finish doesn't look great, it looks rather dull overall but the debossed title is a nice bonus.
