I've just got mine as well it's love at first sight although it looks like something has dripped down parts of the front and it has made the paint bubble and come off in bits. I'm hoping zavvi haven't completely sold out of these otherwise I will be p****d

The borders are not raised mate. The whole embossing is on the same level.

What did you expect? I think it looks exactly like expected. Debossed center and embossed details as always and glossy just like all Disneys. The dark colouring is also typical.

Nice looking steel btw. It's actually a shame I am not into Disney steel collecting. Happy with Nemo though.

That gold border part is embossed, so the outside border is needed in this case from what I understand.
