Thanks :thumbup: most people frown when we tell them her name but I love it.
If the release is going to be the same as the pic I hope the title is debossed rather than embossed with border. Getting a tad fed up with those now (even though I ordered Battleship yest). Fox don't tend to have any embossing/debossing though do they?

Hi Ripley, we shall see. The only info we have is what is posted. Not all studios are as easy to convince about certain things. But, as a HUGE Alien and Aliens fans, I think this looks really good thus far. I have my fingers crossed tightly that the impact we all make with the sales of the 2nd film, will lead to the 1st one being released as well!

I think it looks really good as it is too. I'd be more than happy with that design. Having it glossed is the icing on the cake. I'm a huge fan of the first 3 myself (I'm biased when it comes to Fincher) but Alien and Aliens are by far the best. I'll join you in crossing my fingers for an Alien release too :thumbup:

That's an interesting point that has been mentioned, I hope it's the extended cut and not the standard theatrical release.

I actually prefer the theatrical cut, the pacing's a lot tighter.

I completely agree! The extended cut really slows it down
