Some open pics. I wouldn't say it's glossy. The title is nice under light. The pic on the back is poor quality in my opinion.

It's not glossy like say, Play's Iron Man, but it does have a certain sheen to it.

It's similar (if not the same as) Fantasia, Peter Pan and Dumbo.

It does have a nice finish, but to describe it as gloss in the title would be inaccurate. There seems to be no difference in the finish to this and other recent Fox titles like Percy Jackson and Die Hard.

Seriously those who have bought this and now complaining shouldve knwn better....dont pre order without seeing in hand pics first.....i have stopped buying zavvi steelbooks long time ago. Catalogue releases with minimum effort gloss or no gloss aint worth 14.99.

To me the sheen looks similar to the Batmans (UK). I will gloss this if the glossing isn't sufficient. This is a no-brainer to me as it such a classic.

The movie's a classic no doubt. And this may be the best Steelbook edition. But it's still not worth that price. With a premium finish (high gloss, debossed title) maybe. But not now.
