I'm going to send mine back simply because their description was misleading. Whether we can get the return postage costs refunded is dependent on Zavvi accepting that it isn't glossy. I don't hold out much hope on this...

I really want to buy one of these, but your reviews are so bad I don't know if it's worth paying the price. The Evil Dead 2 Steelbook was really good, as well as the Fifth Element, so I would really think about this.

It is far from being called Gloss Finish. Seems to only have a sheen that doesn't even match the Batman UK Steels.

Steelbooks

To many times, they come out with steelbooks that do not hold all of the disc from original movie. When it comes to series movies like Alien, they come out with steelbooks that don't hold the entire collection. My opinion, when they are done with a series, like Alien, they should bring out a steelbook that holds the entire set. The first Batman series with michael Keaton, etc. would be great to have in just one steelbook case. I'm sure everyone can think of a series to be done the same way.

There are different types of finish though. There isn't simply matte and gloss. Just because this doesn't have the same finish as Kick-Ass 2, it doesn't mean that it isn't gloss.

I received mine today and I am very happy with it, the reason for that is it matches Prometheus and once I have the whole set they will all match which is great for me. If it was 'true glossy' then I would have had to pass.

Zavvi can't make comparisons with their own products as they have forgotten the word "Gloss" due to a long term memory loss which is said to be fixed soon.

Joking aside, they can compare Goonies Vs Aliens.

So, for example, they shouldn't release any 'Fast & Furious' steelbooks until they finally decide to stop churning out movies, and then bring out a steelbook holding 6, 7, 8 or more discs?
